Manufacturing

Gelpack maintains control over all critical aspects of production through in-house extrusion of polyethylene films, high quality flexographic printing and the manufacture of a wide selection of bags. Almost all aspects of flexible packaging are covered through the printing and/or bag processing of various types of plastic films including polyethylene, BOPP, CPP, extruded OPP, PVC, PVA, polyester, nylon as well as aluminium foil. Our latest printing equipment and expertise ensures that we can assist your total packaging development needs, effectively utilising our print resources to present your product with dynamic impact.

Imports

Through its long established presence in the market, Gelpack has nurtured close ties with some of the best overseas packaging manufacturers. These partnerships ensure that Gelpack is always able to offer the right option to its customers - whether it be through local manufacture at its Noble Park facilities or quality imported products.

Quality Assurance

Gelpack gained quality assurance certification AS/NZS ISO 9002:1994 in 1996 and successfully upgraded that to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 in 2003. Total Quality Management has been implemented and our staff are committed to its application in all aspects of our operation. Line operator quality responsibilities has been our standard for some years, with a combination of both regular and random QC inspection. A QC laboratory is maintained in-house and utilised at all times for these purposes.

Environmental

Gelpack is very environmentally conscious. Almost all of our internally generated scrap and waste materials are re-cycled and re-processed. We do supply recycled film and bags as well as bags made from degradable materials - please contact us for more information.
